Inspired by the big band and bebop sounds of forties and fifties, the Joel Penner Trio plays arrangements of some of the most famous standard tunes, jazz classics, Latin, funk and pop related jazz. The music is extremely “listenable” and is easily accessible to all levels of jazz audiences. The Band features Joel on trumpet and flugelhorn, Jengiz Yaltkaya on piano and Mike Flick on bass.

Main Street is the acoustic alterego of the rock band Champagne Sunday. Champagne Sunday Unplugged, if you will. More suited to smaller, more intimate venues, where the big speakers either won't fit or won't be tolerated.

The Preachers are a four piece rocking blues band featuring harmonica virtuoso Brian Batchley and his counter part on guitar, David "Rhode Island Red" Reo. They both sing and play their asses off. Sasaki's Kenpo Karate, located in Oxnard behind COSTCO, has assembled the best of the best in their Making It Happen (MIH) Performance Team. The team features performers ranging from age 9 to 26 and boasts five National and World Martial Arts Champions. The MIH Performance Team has performed at National Martial Arts events, football and basketball half-time shows and at other local events. The Sound Effect band prides themselves in their trueness to live music. All instruments played live and they never use pre-recorded background tracks at any live performances. This gives them the ability to change the feel of songs as they feel the need to which in turn keeps them fresh and energetic on stage. The fact that the core 4 members of the group have been together for over 11 years makes this possible. Having performed together for so many years also gives them the tightness that distinguishes them from any other group.
