First Chocolate Kiss Eating Contest

The object of the competition was to eat 50 Chocolate Kisses in under 5 minutes. This is a test of dexterity as well as eating prowess since the kisses must be pealed before they can be consumed. Chocolate Pie Eating Contest

The object of the competition was to eat a chocolate pie, shell and all, in under 5 minutes. To make the task even more challenging, the contestants had to keep their hands behind their back at all times while they were eating the pie! Gary Meyers was more than up to the challenge, finishing his pie in a mere 4 minutes and 5.56 seconds.

This contest was a definite crowd favorite. Over a hundred cheering fans and supporters crowded the contest area. I suspect that even more people would have liked to have seen the completion but that area was so packed that it was virtually impossible to get a look at the competitors from beyond the throng of onlookers!
